The physicians and nurse practitioners of Coastal Pediatrics provide a full range of pediatric services including well child exams, sports physicals, care of premature infants, adolescent care and care for all pediatric conditions including asthma and allergies, ADHD, diabetes, and developmental disorders.

Dr. Robert Fostakowsky
"Dr. Bob" has been practicing pediatrics in Oxnard since 1979 and Ventura since 1987. He is married with 2 children.Dr. Fostakowsky attended the University of Manitoba and received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry in 1968. He received his Medical Degree from University of Manitoba School of Medicine in 1972 and completed his internship at LA County/USC Medical Center the following year. His pediatric residency was at the Children's Center - Health Sciences Center in Winnipeg, finishing 1976.
Dr. Fostakowsky is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP)
Dr. David Blank
Dr. Blank joined Coastal Pediatric Medical Group in 1995. He previously practiced in a large multi- specialty practice in Longmont, CO. A California native, he is married with 4 children - 2 boys and 2 girls.Dr. Blank attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, OK graduating with a Bachelor of Science in 1983. He completed his medical degree at Oral Roberts University in 1987. Dr. Blank returned to Southern California in 1987 for his pediatric residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center, finishing in 1990.
Dr. Blank is board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP)
Dr. Ben Pecht
Dr. Ben Pecht joined Coastal Pediatric Medical Group in 2005. Dr. Pecht was born and raised in Oxnard and graduated from Rio Mesa High School.Dr. Pecht received a BA in Biology from Princeton University and completed his Medical Degree, Pediatric Internship and Pediatric Residency at the University of California, San Diego. He is board certified with The American Board of Pediatrics and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP).
Dr. Pecht is married with a daughter and twin boys.
Dr. Lydia Karaman
The physicians, nurse practitioners and staff of Coastal Pediatric Medical Group take great pleasure in welcoming the newest member of our team, Dr. Lydia Karaman.Dr. Karaman was born in Alexandria, Egypt, was raised in Los Angeles and attended high school in Monterey, California. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physiological Science from UCLA in 1997. Dr. Karaman earned her Medical Degree from The Western University of Health Sciences in 2005 and completed her Pediatric Internship and Residency at The University of San Francisco-Fresno in June of 2008.
Dr. Karaman is a member of The American Academy of Pediatrics.
She will be available for appointments on August 4th.
Donna Kacerek, CPNP
Donna joined the staff of Coastal Pediatrics as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in 1991. She graduated from Fresno School of Nursing and received a Bachelor of Science and Masters Degree in Nursing from UCLA. Donna was a member of the first group of nurses to graduate from the Nurse Practitioner program at UCLA in 1973.Donna specializes in growth and development of children from birth through adulthood. She was employed as a school nurse by the Ojai School District and Ventura Unified School District. She taught in the nursing programs at UCLA, California State University Long Beach and Ventura College.
Donna is recognized as a 30 year "pioneer" Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
Judy Driscoll, CPNP
Judy Driscoll joined the team at Coastal Pediatrics in October 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at San Diego State University and her Master of Science degree in Nursing at California State University, Long Beach. She has worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Ventura County since March of 1997, and is an Assistant Clinical Professor for UCLA School of Nursing.Judy is married with one daughter. She is certified with the California Association of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
